Kirin by kattything Kirin by kattything
A kirin... or what I imagine one would look like. :) I had no idea what a kirin even was until about a week ago, when I got a bottle of beer with one on the label! Pencils + Photoshop.

A ki'Rin is the Eastern/Asian version of a unicorn. Instead of being based on a horse, it's based on a goat. Goats were the original inspiration for Unicorns, as sometimes their two horns grow twisted together and become "one" horn. Some people draw Ki'Rin based on deer or other hooved animals, but goats were the original.
